Mother's day cards

Hi there,

as you may have noticed I really stamped a lot during the last weeks. But I was so behind with uploading any cards, so I  spending the last weekend with uploading pictures and blogposts :-)

Wie Ihr sicherlich bemerkt habt, habe ich eine Menge in der letzen Zeit gestempelt. Doch am dem Bearbeiten & Hochladen der Bilder ist es dann oftmals aus Zeitgründen gescheitert.

I am not sure which one I should use and give to my mother. Which one do you prefer? Any suggestions?

Direct-to-paper technique

Hi there,

while cleaning up my tiny little stamp room I found several backgrounds I made ages ago. Instead of throwing them away I decided to make two cards with these vibrant backgrounds:

Beim Aufräumen in meinem Bastelzimmer habe ich eine Schachtel mit UFOs (unfertige Objekte) hervorgekramt. Darin enthalten waren verschiedene Hintergründe, die ich mit der Direct-to-Paper Technik gestaltet habe. Zum wegwerfen viel zu schade, habe ich kurzerhand zwei Karten damit gemacht:

I don't know, which inkpads I used for the DTP technique. Guess it might be Marvy ink pads...

Four in a Row: Gorgeous Grunge

The Gorgeous Grundge is one of my favourite stamp sets from Stampin Up.

I made another "Four in a Row" card set, which means to create four cards with the same stamp set. Juste to get a variety of cards.

Here they are:

 

They are really fast to make. Just perfect if you are in a hurry and need a card :-)

Hi,

here is a quick and easy flower card I recently made:

Usually I am not a big fan of these two-step stamping sets. But this one turns out really well (even it was a three-step-stamping, technically).

I decided that I need more non-birthday cards I can send out any time, without a specific occasion. This is one card I ended with.

Baby shower

Hi there,

I really enjoy to reanimate my blog :-)

Two stamping friends just became mother - Katharina got a little boy named Anton, and Cigdem a little girl.  So I was in need of two baby cards. Usually all of my friends are in a age range where no longer children are expected (maybe grandchildren in a few years :-) ) so I don't have a lot of baby stamps in my stash and need to improvise...

This card was for a boy:

And this for a little girl:

Usually I am not into these "Barbie" colours :-) My alltime favourite colours are all these blue-green colours like teal, Turquoise, soft sky and mint. But I thought blue wouldn't fit to a little girl. So I decided to take some soft pink colours... As I didn't know her name I stamped just "Baby"...

Which one do you prefer?

Birthday card

Hi there,

this is another birthday card I made with the reainbow stack of cards:

This time I decideed to use some of my designer paper. I have such a huge pile that I don't need to buy anymore, even I will be 140 years old :-)

And yes, I still buy more designer paper!

Just use some scrap of paper, an old book page and a german stamp and the result s a nice card, ready to send out...

I love the combination of kraft card with turquoise.

Hi there,

this is the card I made for my husband's 47. birthday back in January. Even it was about three months ago that I made this cards, I just want to show it:

He wasn't happy about it :-) Yes he like the card but not the part that's showing his age :-)

So if you wonder why I do use his age on this card, although I know he wouldn't like it... Well, if someone tends to tell everyone he just turns 39, I thought I should bring him back down to earth, right ;-)

In my opinion, age is just a number...

Another clean and simple (CAS) card I made:

I just played with some new stamps I ordered while the Stampin up - SAB lasts.

Punched the butterfly die out of some coloured vellum. So great!
